Chief Operating Officer

Erling, or Elli as we call him, is our COO. He is the type of guy who rolls up his sleeves and gets things done. He combines an action-oriented approach with a cool head. He´s one the nicest guys you could hope to meet and manages to get the best out those with whom he works.

As one the founders of Industria, Elli is involved in all aspects of company operations. He is extremely good with numbers and quantitative analysis and enjoys strategizing with team members.

A specialist in fibre-optic networks and digital services and solutions, Elli has worked in fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) project management since 1999.

A highly experienced operator in the broadband sector and key member of our team, Elli began his career as CEO of Icelandic-based electrical, electronic, and telecommunications systems specialist Ljosvirki, a long-established company which has worked on projects ranging from power-intensive aluminium smelter installations to commercial and privately operated fibre-optic telecommunications networks.

In the course of his career, Elli has played a leading role in the design of a series of groundbreaking solutions in broadband network development. An electrician by trade, he also holds several qualifications in business studies and management, specialising in the implementation and marketing and of fibre-optic networks.
